Weebly

If you are using Weebly as your ecommerce platform, you will need to follow the steps below to enable the FuelX event tracking. This pageview event code will need to placed across your entire website in order for additional event tracking to track and record data properly.

Page View

Implementation

  1. Access your Weebly account and go to your website admin interface.
  2. Click on the "Settings" link at the top of the page.
  3. In the left hand side of the screen click the "SEO" link
  4. Within the SEO section find the Header Code textarea and place the FuelX pageview event code within the textarea.
  5. Now click the "Save" button located at the bottom of the page.

When placing the tracking code on your site, be sure to place the appropriate Platform Value from the Field Values table into your tracking code. If you do not wish to track certain values, such as products or orderValue, please remove the placeholders in the trackng code and leave the value as empty quotes. Implementation

  1. Access your Weebly account and go to your website admin interface.
  2. Now click on the "Theme" link at the top of the page.
  3. In the left hand side of the screen click the "Edit HTML/CSS" link.
  4. Locate, within the directory structure, the order confirmation partial and select the file.
  5. Insert the purchase event code at the botom of the file and save the modifications. You can directly add the order id and order value to the corresponding fields as shown in the example below.
  6. Click save and your purchase event code will be triggered whenever this page is accessed by a user.

Lead

Implementation

  3. In the left hand side of the screen click the "Edit HTML/CSS" link.
  4. Locate, within the directory structure, the order confirmation partial and select the file.
  5. Now place the following lead event code at the bottom of the file, if you would like to track lead events as the user reaches the page. In addition, the code can be triggered to record lead events by using onclick or onsubmit events.
  6. Values can be placed within the leadId, leadType, and email fields to track leads. These values must be placed within quotes.
  7. Click "Save" and your file will be saved with the lead event code that has now been placed.
